The Spanish Hieroglyphics are thought to be the key to one of the 18 Peralta gold mines in the Superstition Mountains. The Sunburst indicates it was a very rich mine, the word “ORO” tells us what it is all about—GOLD! Then there is the map sketched on the rocks below. Could it be the Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine? IN THIS PACKAGE YOU GET A FULL COLOR TOPOGRAPHIC MAP SHOWING THE GPS DATA, GENERAL TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS, THE GPS POINT FOR THE HIEROGLYPHICS, AND the the trail marked out in GPS Points. This hike is about a 6 mile round trip. Plan to take all day, and bring a flashlight and plenty of water. Wear appropriate clotheing like long pants and hiking boots.
